Okawara Kenta

Biography

Born in Fukushima, Japan, in 1983.
Graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University in 2007.

After working as a designer at an advertising production company for three years, he began his artistic practice while working at a child welfare facility. His work centers on printmaking techniques such as woodblock printing and silkscreen, through which he develops and presents his artistic practice.

He is currently a full-time lecturer in the Department of Design at the College of Art, Nihon University.
